African business support platform for startups Starta is bringing its Side Hustle Bootcamp to Ghana in June, with selected entrepreneurs to spend three days learning how to turn their business ideas into reality.

Initially launched in Abuja, Nigeria, Starta announced it is expanding Side Hustle Bootcamp to Ghana, with the first event to be held in Accra on June 9 -11.

The bootcamp is a weekend of intensive practical learning on how to ideate, start, launch and get funding for a tech-enabled business.

Participants complete five modules over the three days, ranging from how to ideate and develop a product, customer acquisition and retention, managing a team, to how to raise funding.

In addition, an action-step checklist will be developed for each entrepreneur, and each participant will get a one-on-one strategy session with Dotun Olowoporoku, venture partner at seed stage venture capital fund Potential VC.

25 people will be selected for the programme; and participation costs US$200.
