The inaugural Startup Picnic is to be held in Pretoria, South Africa, on Saturday, November 22, with entrepreneurs and investors invited to spend the day networking at the picnic.

Founded by the Tiisetso Maloma blog in partnership with The Hope Factory, ACM Gold, WEY (Woman Emancipate Yourself) and eKasi Entrepreneurs, the Startup Picnic invites startup founders, established – and budding – entrepreneurs, investors and incubators to meet and enjoy a day of talks, games and refreshments, to mark Global Entrepreneurship Week.

The day is set to begin with a breakfast talk by tech-startup investor and chief executive officer (CEO) of ACM Gold Irfan Pardesi, followed by a networking and exhibition day accompanied by music, refreshments and braai.

Companies have the opportunity to apply for an exhibition space to showcase their products and services at the event.

The event will be held at CSIR Sports and Recreation Club in Pretoria, from 9am to 8pm on Saturday.

Tickets can be purchased in advance via Computicket.
