mLab SA sponsors Port Elizabeth Think Tank networking event

Incubator mLab Southern Africa is sponsoring the inaugural Think Tank networking event in Port Elizabeth on Thursday, November 27, bringing together stakeholders in the tech space.

The event, which is taking place at the Embezweni Building at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, is an open function and aims to be a stepping stone for those wishing to learn about the ecosystem and what is happening in the growing industry.

Other sponsors include Seda Nelson Mandela Bay ICT Incubator (SNII), African Ideas and Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University Computing Science Department.

“The aim of the function is to bring together people with a passion for technology and business and a desire to impact community development, to discuss how to contribute to the growing Port Elizabeth ICT environment. Another objective is to connect people with the intention of sparking innovation and new business synergies,” the organisers said.

Guest speakers include Mixo Ngoveni (Geekulcha), Nkululeko Mthembu (Durban Hub) and Nirvesh Sooful (African Ideas), who will share the success stories of different cities in South Africa and how they are enabling growth using technology.
