Cameroonian incubator ActivSpaces has partnered the Cameroon Angels Network (CAN) to hold Pitch Day 237 on  January 31, with startups vying for a place in the #YouCAN competition or ActivSpaces’ new acceleration programme Activation Bootcamp.

Disrupt Africa reported earlier this month ActivSpaces had opened the application window for its Activation Bootcamp, a six-month accelerator programme which will offer startups funding, mentorship and support valued at XAF4.6 million (US$8,500).

Applications for the #YouCAN startup competition have already closed, but shortlisted startups for both programmes will now pitch at Pitch Day 237 to separate panels of judges as they seek to gain acceptance.

Startups in the #YouCAN competition are battling it out for total prize money of XAF1 million (US$1,800), with the best overall project to receive XAF500,000 (US$900).
