Zambian incubator BongoHive has relocated to larger offices after leaving its home of two years, saying the move will allow it to better serve the needs of Lusaka’s startup community.

BongoHive said though it was difficult to leave its long-term home in Olympia Park, the new offices on Nanshila Road in the Kalundu area of Lusaka, near the University of Zambia, are bigger and better.

Members of the BongoHive community are invited to make suggestions about the design and planning of the interior, while the incubator is looking forward to boosting its services with the extra space.

“One of the areas of growth and focus for BongoHive going forward will be startup support,” BongoHive said. “We would like give startups at BongoHive more office space for them to work and grow their businesses adequately. We’re also looking to bring together a research and consultancy team, they will also require dedicated office space.”

The incubator also hopes to accommodate more workshops and training opportunities, while offering a space for the testing of products.

“The combined support from our partners, funders, and community has been important for our growth, allowing us the opportunity to expand and make this exciting move. We look forward to seeing you at our new office!” BongoHive said.
