GrowthAfrica, which started life in Kenya but had gradually been expanding into other East African countries, says its programmes help to make businesses investment ready and provide access to fully-vetted local and international investors.

The company is looking for applications from motivated entrepreneurs in a variety of sectors, with agribusiness, financial services, mobile and ICT, health, education, water and sanitation, energy, manufacturing of affordable products for the bottom of pyramid, and innovative retail and distribution concepts of particular interest.

Interested startups must apply before August 31, with the programme kicking off at the end of November and lasting until April.
