Nominations open for Silicon Cape Community Council

Nominations have opened for individuals to join the Community Council of startup support organisation Silicon Cape.

Silicon Cape is looking for driven, passionate, connected and collaborative thought leaders to serve on its Community Council, which has a mandate to provide strategic advice to the organisation and lead specific community initiatives.

Nominations are open here until November 23, with positions requiring a minimum of 20 hours time per month. Individuals can nominate themselves.

“Any member of the Council should ideally have a strong belief in the importance of the technology startup ecosystem, great people skills, a collaborative mind-set, knowledge and skills that could contribute to the growth  of the initiative; along with the ability to ensure a balance between insight and execution,” Silicon Cape said.

Available portfolios are Developer Relations, Government Relations, Investor Relations, International Relations, Startup Relations, Skills Development, and Diversity and Inclusion.
