South African startup support organisation SiMODiSA is to run another edition of its Venture Train to coincide with the Global Entrepreneurship Congress in Johannesburg in March.

SiMODiSA first launched the Venture Train concept in October of last year, bringing together entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and investors on a networking train ride between Johannesburg and Cape Town.

It has now announced it will be running a Global Entrepreneurship Congress Venture Train, which takes place on March 16-17. Tickets are available here.

The Venture Train will commence in Johannesburg and finish in Cape Town, involving a number of talks and discussions amongst participating stakeholders. At the time of the launch, SiMODISA said the goal of the initiative was to connect South Africa’s two primary entrepreneurial hubs, as well as attract international participation.
